Lanson was founded in 1760 and was one of the very first Champagne Houses to be established. Unusually for a non-vintage champagne, and somewhat controversially, Lanson do not use malolatic fermentation. Black Label comprises: 35% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier.

Fine bubbles, with nice acidity and citrus flavors. Good as an appetizer on a special occasion with people that appreciate a little bubbly.
